Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that the singer has created. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway by her, also gave it some more recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as work or for a passion and as a way to develop. For this reason, she began writing songs that were her own creations. Her sources include noted writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. When her mother informed her that her music would not just help her get noticed, but also make others see their value to the world and appreciate how they can benefit from the songs She decided to start singing in public. The piano was her first instrument, at six, and she started creating music after turning nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she turned fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. According to her, she simply loves writing music. The songs she creates are her way of feeling anything.
